ZAGREB ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - A two-day NATO international conference on stability and cooperation in Southeast Europe, which is expected to be attended by top Croatian officials and NATO Secretary-General George Robertson, will be
held early next week in Zagreb.

stability and cooperation in Southeast Europe, which is expected to
be attended by top Croatian officials and NATO Secretary-General

The conference, called "Regional Stability and Cooperation: NATO,
Croatia and Southeast Europe", will be held on June 24 and 25.
The conference should focus on NATO's strategy, the regional
security and stability context, and different forms of cooperation
within the Partnership for Peace programme and Membership Action
Plan, NATO said in a statement.
Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will address the conference on
June 24.
NATO Secretary-General Robertson, Croatian Foreign Minister
Tonino Picula, and Defence Minister Jozo Rados will also speak at
the conference. Prime Minister Ivica Racan's speech on Croatia's
strategy for joining NATO is scheduled to take place on the second
day of the conference.
The conference is organised by the Zagreb Institute for
International Relations and NATO's information and press office.
