on Saturday, criticising Prime Minister Ivica Racan's statements on the "Lora case" trial.
SPLIT, June 22 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)
believes it is unallowable that the executive authority interferes
with the legislative or judicial authorities, HDZ president Ivo
Sanader said at a news conference in Split on Saturday, criticising
Prime Minister Ivica Racan's statements on the "Lora case" trial.

"It is unallowable for the Prime Minister to say that he is not
satisfied with the "Lora case" trial," Sanader said and added that
this was not in line with democratic standards.
Speaking about laid-off policemen, Sanader said the Croatian
public had not as yet been informed of the criteria for the layoffs.
He demanded of the government to publish the official data on the
new employees because "the HDZ has unofficial data according to
which the jobs of policemen who were Croatian Homeland War soldiers
were given to those from the former militia system".
