Military police commissioner, General Mate Lausic, said that the
first platoon is prepared, the second is being trained, and the this
is choosing its members. Three platoons of the military police will
be organised and equipped for peace missions, Lausic said.
Assistant Interior Minister Mladen Ruzman confirmed the readiness
of the military police platoons. He said that seven days after a
political decision that the unit be sent to the field, the military
police platoon can travel abroad as part of a multinational unit.
