This is one of the largest shipments of raw material intended for
the reorganised ferrous metallurgy in Bosnia-Herzegovina this
year.
Before the war, the Zenica Ironworks had been using about 50 percent
of the capacity of Ploce. Under a new agreement, around 200,000
tonnes of raw materials intended for the Zenica Ironworks would be
shipped through the southern Croatian port every year.
