Adlesic, the head of the parliamentary internal affairs committee,
and Viktor Broz, the Croatian parliamentary delegation's
representative to NATO's Assembly, represented Croatia.
The two Croatian officials met representatives of the Croat ethnic
community in Montenegro, who complained that they were neglected
when compared to other Croats in Yugoslavia.
Croats in Montenegro must declare themselves as Montenegrin
Catholics, and they ask Zagreb to help them improve their position
and get the status of an ethnic minority in Montenegro, Adlesic
said.
Adlesic announced that their problems would be discussed by the
government's office for relations with Croats outside Croatia,
which would be set up the following week.
