Association Agreement with the EU.
The parliament today also discussed a final bill on the
ratification of a contract on a European Bank for Reconstruction
and Development loan to the company "Zagreb-Rijeka Highway".
The EUR90 million loan will be used for the construction of the
Zagreb-Rijeka highway. The Croatian government has provided
guarantees for the loan which will be paid back over a period of 18
years, from funds from road tolls. Interest on the loan is one
percent.
