This year the Conference pooled transport ministers from 50

Maritime Affairs, Transport, and Communications said in a
statement.
The purpose of TIRS is to determine international and regional
routes in Europe's south-east, as well as 94 priorities for
international financing.
According to TIRS, the priorities are 94 regional projects,
including five for Croatia worth EUR400 million.
The Croatian projects refer to equipment for the computerisation of
Croatian Railways, documentation for the regulation of the flow of
the Sava river and the proclamation of the river an international
waterway, documentation for the advancement of rail transport on
the Vb (Budapest-Zagreb-Rijeka) and Vc (Budapest-Osijek-
Sarajevo-Ploce) corridors, and the construction of a ring road for
the Rijeka Port.
The participants in the Conference adopted resolutions on a
stronger orientation towards eco-friendly modes of transport,
particularly by rail and river, on security in road transport, and
on security in all segments of transport in light of combating
terrorism.
