The two arrested men are from the eastern Croatian town of Gunje,
the Vukovar-Srijem police reported.
Eighteen Turkish Kurds, of whom 14 had drowned, tried to illegally
cross from Bosnia to Croatia in the night between May 13 and 14. The
Kurds drowned in the Sava river.
The two men suspected of the illegal transportation of Kurds were
taken before a Vukovar County Court investigating judge.
