ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - Croatia's Education Minister Vladimir Strugar and the Primary School Teachers' Union head, Dalimir Kuba, on Monday signed a collective agreement for employees in primary schools. The document comes into effect
on 1 July this year, and will be in force until the end of 2006. Both the minister and the union leader expressed satisfaction with the new agreement, the preparation of which took two years. In Kuba's opinion, the new deal is at the European level of rights of unions in the schooling system. Minister Strugar described the document as consistent, and promised that his ministry would do its best to fulfil its commitment under this agreement.(hina) ms
