Also adopted was a draft bill on violations under which the current
petty offence law will have a new and unique concept in line with
international community standards.
A bill on foreigners was also proposed. The bill regulates the
problem of visas, stays for foreigners and the issuing of business
permits.
Also discussed was the liberalisation of the visa regime between
Croatia and Yugoslavia, namely speeding up the procedure for
issuing visas to Yugoslav citizens who come to Croatia for personal
or tourist visits.
Yugoslav citizens who travel frequently for business reasons would
also be issued entry-exit visas for an unlimited number of trips,
said a statement issued by the government public relations'
office.
