Gredelj told reporters he would also press charges against his
successor, Mladen Piskorac. He said Piskorac was preventing him
from performing his duties.
The Justice Ministry on Wednesday confirmed that Piskorac was the
Bjelovar County Court president as of last Friday, when he was
appointed, and he entirely assumed the duty of the county court
president on Tuesday.
Gredelj, however, claims that his eight-year mandate expires in
February 2003 and that he will not leave the office until the
justice ministry submits a report on the cancellation of his
mandate.
After receiving the report Gredelj will "seek justice" at the
European Court for Human Rights in Strasbourg.
