ZAGREB, May 29 (Hina)- A conclusion by the Croatian parliament whereby the State Audit Office was obliged by the parliament to submit information concerning the beneficiaries, amounts and origin of manager's loans is absolutely
unfeasible and will cause chaos, the president of the parliament's Committee for Finances and the State Budget, Jadranko Mijalic of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), told journalists on Wednesday.

At today's parliament session, Mijalic voted against the proposal
which the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) put forward and then was
adopted by a majority of MP's.
He told journalists that commercial banks would resist any such
conclusion and the "results will be a big zero". Without any court
warrants, no-one will be able to compel banks to give out business
secrets, he said.
Mijalic believes that the entire story over the audit of the
transition and privatisation process could be resolved by
ascertaining the origin of money used to purchase companies.
