The amendments concern the Law on Pension Insurance and the Law on
Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Invalids which, the
alliance said, would significantly contribute to the position of
invalids.
Vidovic's assistant Ruzica Terze said that the Law on Pension
Insurance, by which pensions for 35,000 invalids would rise by 20
percent, should come into effect on July 1.
Representatives of invalids and Vidovic also spoke about
protection workshops and stimulating employers to employ
invalids.
