ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament on Thursday adopted a bill of laws in their first reading, by which contributions would in the future be paid for incomes which have not been included for taxes until now -- fees for
membership in assemblies, supervisory boards and management boards, as well as authors fees and reporters fees and similar professions.

a bill of laws in their first reading, by which contributions would

MPs voted for amendments to the Law on Income Tax, which decreased
the rate of payments on account for income tax included in the law on
obligatory contributions from the former 35 percent to 15 percent.
The parliament also supported amendment to the Law on Pensions
Insurance, by which about 36,000 users of disability persons could
count on an increase of pensions by about 200 kuna per month. Early
age pensions will decrease by 1.5 percent on avegare, and pension
years would not include the period in which pension contribution
had not been paid.
MPs adopted changes to the Law on Health Insurance, widening the
circle of those paying contributions, workers receiving fees are
given the right to paid sick leave for up to a month and amounting to
665 kuna, but only for illnesses established by the Croatian Health
Insurance Institute commission.
By adopting amendments to the Law on Incomes of Judges and other
Officials in the Judiciary, MPs included in the category employees
of the Office for Fighting Corruption and Organised Crime.
