The facilities are estimated at around ten billion kuna (EUR1.35
million)
The agreement signing constitutes the execution of a government
decision on the transfer of state-owned real estate which was
managed by the Defence Ministry to the HFP to be prepared for
further privatisation, said Rados.
He added it was important that the agreement would keep 383 workers
employed while the hotels remained owned by the HFP.
The Defence Ministry now retains only one hotel, "Zagreb" in
Dujilovo near Split, and three accommodation facilities for
officers - the hotels "Iz" in Zadar, "Veli Joze" in Pula, and
"Zvonimir" in Zagreb.
