Mimica reminded gathered citizens that in the past year Croatia had
signed the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (EU) with the
EU, and has already began implementing it.
He expressed satisfaction with the fact that 77 percent of Croatian
citizens supported Croatia's entry into the EU, but said that their
knowledge about European institutions and the significance of
membership in the organisation was insufficient.
This needs to change, which is the goal of actions such as the
European Week, Mimica said, and announced that the doors of his
ministry would be open the entire next week, and invited citizens to
ask anything they are interested in with regards to the EU.
