Croatia's foreign debt in February again rose to exceed 11 billion

According to data issued by the Croatian National Bank, the largest
increase of debt relates to the state sector. The state's overall
debt exceeded five billion dollars, making up for 45.4 percent of
the total Croatian foreign debt.
The foreign debt, which amounted to 11,146 million dollars at the
end of last year, was 54.5 percent of the GDP in 2001.
Debts paid by exports and services last year made up for 37.9
percent of the overall amount.
