CAIRO, April 28 (Hina) - A Croatian economic delegation headed by Minister Hrvoje Vojkovic participated in Cairo on Sunday in a session of a Croatian-Egyptian commission which discussed possibilities of advancing economic relations
and trade.

session of a Croatian-Egyptian commission which discussed
possibilities of advancing economic relations and trade. #L#
The delegation is on an April 27-30 visit to Egypt.
Minister Vojkovic recalled that at the time of the ex-Yugoslav
federation, Croatia was the biggest exporter to Egypt.
Vojkovic met Egypt's Industry and Technology Minister Aly El Saidy,
discussing possibilities of further cooperation in industry and
technology. The Egyptian minister briefed the Croatian delegation
about the establishment of 15 industrial parks in Egypt which are
co-financed by the European Union, and possibilities of
cooperation with small and medium Croatian industries.
Vojkovic also held talks with Energetics Minister Hassan Ahmed
Younis, informing him about the reform of the Croatian power
sector, preparations for the privatisation of the oil industry INA
and the power supply company HEP, and possibilities of cooperation
in energetics.
The Croatian economy minister also met Egypt's minister for free
zones and the president of the Egyptian General Petroleum
Corporation.
