The procedure of co-operation with the UN tribunal is defined by a
law adopted in the federal parliament and, as such, it needs to be
respected, Zivkovic said, adding that it was expected that the
justice minister would "commence with the procedure virtually
today or tomorrow".
Those charged with war crimes "who surrender themselves to the
county prosecutor or the justice minister" will get a guarantee
from the government by which the Hague tribunal will decide as to
their release on bail pending trial, Zivkovic said.
