BELGRADE: FIRST INDICTMENT FOR WAR CRIMES AGAINST ALBANIANS

BELGRADE, April 9 (Hina) - The Serbian Justice Ministry said on Tuesday that the first indictment was issued in Prokuplje against Serbian reservists for war crimes against Albanian citizens. #L# Two Yugoslav Army reservists are accused of killing 19 Albanian civilians in Podujevo in Kosovo in 1999. Among those killed were women and children. Acting County State Prosecutor Viseslav Bukumirovic said it was a normal thing to try indictees in Yugoslavia, despite the fact that there is an international court in charge of such cases.
