MAGAZINE CLAIMS KARADZIC HAS THREE CIRCLES OF GUARDS

BELGRADE, March 4 (Hina) - The security of Radovan Karadzic, the war crimes indictee whom Stabilisation Force troops intensively sought in eastern Bosnia last week, consists of three circles of guards on every location he is at, according to the Banja Luka magazine Reporter, the Belgrade news agency Beta said on Monday. The two outer circles never know if Karadzic is in the central one, do not communicate but do have alarm models, says the magazine. Quoting unnamed sources, Reporter claims Karadzic is in touch only with his closest security which consists of people who have stayed loyal since the beginning of the Bosnian conflicts a decade ago. "In the last two years the closest unit has been reduced, the most recognisable figures from the former official security are not around Karadzic as they could represent an easily followed lead. They were replaced by professionals who were in the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina but who are not exposed in any way," reads the article. The magazine claims that only five people besides the security know where Karadzic is. "Most often, not even Karadzic's wife knows his place of residence," it says. (hina) ha
