THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - The Trial Chamber of the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague has accepted some of the requests by Bosnian Croats Mladen Naletilic Tuta and Vinko Martinovic Stela for dismissing their
indictment. The Trial Chamber on February 28 dismissed a part of the indictment charging Martinovic for using a prisoner as a human shield in Mostar, the case of an unnamed witness testifying of the torture and intentional infliction of suffering by both Tuta and Stela, as well as some other parts of the indictment. The two Croats' defence team submitted requests for the dismissal of sections of the indictment three weeks ago, since the prosecution had not proven the essential parts of the indictment. The defence will begin its part of the proceedings on March 25.(hina) lml
