"The contract will strengthen the competitiveness of the Rijeka
Port in relation to other northern Adriatic ports. For the first
time we have a special terminal for cars, where 30,000 cars will be
reloaded annually," Hlaca said, adding this number was expected to
rise to 60,000 after an investment by Mosolf. The company has
obliged itself to invest 2.5 million euros in the construction of
accompanying facilities and announced the employment of around 100
workers.
