GOVT. AGREES IN PRINCIPLE ON CROATIA/BOSNIA SOCCER CANDIDACY

ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - The Croatian government passed a decree on Thursday establishing an office for the prevention of illegal drug abuse and an institute for the prevention of addictions which, according to Health Minister Andro Vlahusic, provides a national network of institutions in charge of additions. In the last two years the trend of escalating additions in some towns and counties has started slowing down, said the minister. The government agreed on the establishment of a team of experts which would coordinate the financing of projects for Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year's state budget envisages 25 million kuna (EUR3.37 million) for these projects, which refer to education, culture, science, and health. Said funds will be allocated on the basis of a public bid for tenders and given directly to the beneficiaries. The government's members agreed in principle on a proposed joint Croatian-Bosnian
