ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS), Zlatko Tomcic, said on Saturday night the election of Drazen Budisa as Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) president would alleviate tensions in the ruling
coalition, adding he expected Budisa to be a constructive member of the coalition. I expected Budisa's victory because I was familiar with the atmosphere among party members, Tomcic said in a phone interview with Hina. Tomcic said he was aware that Budisa would put some of his requests which he had presented over the past several months before the coalition partners, but he believed they would not jeopardise the coalition.
