ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - Foreign Minister Tonino Picula received on Tuesday the incoming head of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission to Croatia, Peter Semneby, and said Croatia this year wished to
intensify cooperation with the OSCE, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Croatia sees in the Mission a constructive partner which will help the government in its efforts to reach the highest European standards, read the statement. Semneby said the Mission's work in Croatia was closely linked with Croatia's efforts to fully integrate into the European Union. The joint goal of the OSCE Mission and the Croatian government is to successfully resolve the issues covered by the Mission's mandate and thus close the remaining chapters, he added, according to the statement.(hina) ha sb
