ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - Representatives of the City of Zagreb, the War Veterans Ministry, and Privredna Banka Zagreb signed on Friday a tripartite agreement on business cooperation in the credit financing of war veterans starting a
business. The credit financing of businessmen war veterans is in keeping with the government's employment policy which will enable war veterans to find self-employment as well as the finding of additional employment with them, Zagreb mayor Milan Bandic said. Under the agreement, the War Veterans Ministry will invest five million kuna in Privredna Banka Zagreb which, based on said deposit, will increase its credit fund tenfold, ensuring 50 million kuna for veterans entering business. financing of war veterans starting a business.
The credit financing of businessmen war veterans is in keeping with
the government's employment policy which will enable war veterans
to find self-employment as well as the finding of additional
employment with them, Zagreb mayor Milan Bandic said.
Under the agreement, the War Veterans Ministry will invest five
million kuna in Privredna Banka Zagreb which, based on said
deposit, will increase its credit fund tenfold, ensuring 50 million
kuna for veterans entering business.
"War veterans are the most significant part of the population that

the problems of its veterans," said Minister Ivica Pancic.
With 1.5 percent, the City of Zagreb will subsidise the interest
rate which for the credit beneficiaries is six instead of 7.5
percent. The Technological Park company will organise a free course
in entrepreneurship for new businessmen.
The businessmen veterans may expect the first loans early in April.
The lowest loan will be 50,000 and the highest 800,000 kuna, granted
for a period of ten years and with a two-year grace period.
