PODGORICA, Jan 24 (Hina) - The demarcation of the border with Croatia is contentious only at sea, in the Boka Kotorska bay, Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic said on Thursday. "Croatia has no territorial aspirations towards
Montenegro at all, and what is contentious is the demarcation at sea because there was no border there in the past (during the ex-Yugoslav federation)," Djukanovic told reporters who asked if Croatia wanted half the access to Boka Kotorska. He added Montenegro had offered several models of settling the issue but that Croatia had still not taken a position. "In the end, the Prevlaka issue might be solved by international arbitration," Djukanovic said, referring to Croatia's southern-most tip bordering on Montenegro. He added, however, the matter was further exacerbated by the fact that Croatia was negotiating Prevlaka with Yugoslavia and not with Montenegro.(hina) ha
