Until the City Council holds a discussion about my mandate, I will make efforts to perform my duties as Zagreb mayor as I have done so far, professionally and with enthusiasm, Bandic said at a press conference. He read out a letter in which he informed Srica about his decision to make his mandate available and asked that his proposal be included in the agenda of the next session of the Council. Bandic apologised once more in his letter and expressed regret at events that happened after he caused a minor car accident on Saturday night while driving under the influence of alcohol.
