government.#L#
"Political developments in one member-state cannot affect processes in
another member-state. The will of Serbian citizens cannot affect our
relations with Serbia since the (Belgrade) Agreement and the Charter
secure mechanisms enabling us to determine the political and economic
situation in Montenegro," Vujanovic told reporters after the
announcement of first unofficial results of Sunday's parliamentary
elections in Serbia.
Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said that "Montenegro must accept the
election results in Serbia" and that they were "expected for all those
who carefully monitored the political situation in Serbia".
Montenegrin parliament president Ranko Krivokapic said that Montenegro
would help stabilise the situation in Serbia since the last elections
"have obviously failed to do so".
