The informal meeting should tackle details of the transfer of
authority.
This is the first meeting of the outgoing and incoming prime
ministers since the parliamentary elections of November 23, which
were won by Sanader's Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
This "protocol" was introduced in 2000, when the then outgoing HDZ
prime minister Zlatko Matesa and the then premier-designate Racan
held talks on the transfer of authority.
