HR-POLITICS-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 5159 HINA Zagreb, 6 December 2003 PRESIDENT MESIC ON WORK OF FUTURE GOVERNMENTMARIJANCI, Dec 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic said on Saturday he expected of the new Croatian government to continue to cooperate with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia because "a lack of cooperation would mean Croatia's isolation, which Croatia does not need". Asked about what he expected of the new government regarding the Hague-based tribunal, Mesic said guilt must be individualised adding that collective accusations will stop after concrete people be charged with concrete crimes. "Then we will be able to cooperate with our neighbours of whom we ask, particularly of those guilty for the aggression to help in the individualisation of guilt," Mesic said.
