ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - The Party of Liberal Democrats (Libra)
expects the coalition of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and
Libra to win the upcoming parliamentary elections and continue
governing the country, Libra leader Jozo Rados said at an election
rally in downtown Zagreb on Sunday held under the slogan "Without
Politics". #L#
He estimated that Libra would remain a parliamentary party and keep
its club of deputies after the 23 November elections.
Libra expects to win at least three seats in parliament, he said.
Asked why the meeting was held under the slogan "Without Politics",
Rados said that the political scene in Croatia was burdened with too
much politics, which was why his party decided to organise a non-
political rally.
Asked to comment on Social Liberal Party leader Drazen Budisa's
statement that the SDP formed the coalition with Libra to help it
keep its seats in parliament, Rados said he did not understand the
statement because parties formed coalitions to achieve something,
which was why the SDP and Libra formed a coalition.
Libra representatives made a donation for an association assisting
the parents of drug-addicts at a fund-raiser organised to help
establish a community for the treatment of drug-addicts near
Petrinja.
