successful partially owing to U.S. tourists, Croatian Tourism

In the Croatian Embassy in Washington, Zupan Ruskovic presented
Croatia's tourism and Croatia as an attractive tourist destination
to Americans. The presentation was attended by some 30 tour-
operators, investors and reporters.
More than 8.6 million tourists visited Croatia by October 2003, and
realised 46 million overnights, which is seven percent more than in
2002.
Total revenue from tourism will amount to US$7.9 billion.
Zupan Ruskovic will take part in a meeting of the Association of
U.S. Tour-operators in Hawaii on December 8 and 9.
