by Dubrovnik Mayor Dubravka Suica who is the fourth candidate on the HDZ slate in constituency no. 10 and the president of the Vukovar-Srijem County HDZ branch and first on the HDZ slate in constituency no. 5, Petar Cobankovic.
ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union's (HDZ)
concept "Panonia-Adriatic", namely connection between
agriculture and tourism, and the new perception of Croatia's
economy and the EU, was presented to reporters on Monday by
Dubrovnik Mayor Dubravka Suica who is the fourth candidate on the
HDZ slate in constituency no. 10 and the president of the Vukovar-
Srijem County HDZ branch and first on the HDZ slate in constituency

Suica said the current economic situation was poor because
Croatia's economy was isolated from Europe's. "We must ask
ourselves what can bring Croatia closer to Brussels, what we can
offer to Europe and why Europe needs us because without those
answers all tours in Europe are nothing but political campaigns,"
Suica said.
She and Cobankovic presented the HDZ's plans regarding the equal
development of all Croatian regions and the connection between
agriculture and tourism, Panonia and the Adriatic.
