BELGRADE, Dec 2 (Hina) - Serbia's Police Minister Dusan Mihajlovic has reiterated he will fight with everything at his disposal so that four military and police generals accused by the Hague war crimes tribunal are not extradited, and
that "there are ways of achieving that".

"I'll do everything I can so they never see The Hague, except as
tourists. I believe citizens will help me in that, but more on that
later," Mihajlovic told a Frankfurt-based daily, according to
Belgrade's Radio B92.
He described one of the four accused, police General Sreten Lukic,
as his right hand in the reform of the police and a hero of Operation
Sabre, which was launched after the assassination of Prime Minister
Zoran Djindjic.
The generals -- Lukic, Nebojsa Pavkovic, Vladimir Lazarevic, and
Vlastimir Djordjevic -- have recently been indicted for war crimes
committed in Kosovo in 1999.
