processed the returns of Nov. 23 parliamentary elections from every
polling station in 12 constituencies. #L#
Election material from every polling station in the country had
been submitted, including from the repeat vote held yesterday at
the Gudci polling station in Velika Gorica.
Election material from Australia had been received too, while
material from one polling station in the U.S. and one in Russia is
expected tomorrow.
If material from the latter two arrives, the State Electoral
Commission will be able to reveal the official and complete results
of the parliamentary polls on Wednesday.
Complaints will then be accepted -- in the first 48 hours complaints
may be submitted the State Electoral Commission about the official
electoral results, and in the second 48 hours complaints may be
submitted to the Constitutional Court.
If there are no complaints, the official results might be published
by the end of the week, and if there are, next week.
Within twenty days of the publication of the official results, the
new Croatian parliament has to hold its constituent session.
