"It is my desire and aspiration to see the re-establishment of a
state in the Serb Krajina. Why wouldn't I want to see a Greater
Serbia united? As regards Croatia, we shall not have diplomatic
relations with that country while it has the current borders,"
Niikolic said in an interview with the Novi Sad-based Apolo
television station on Tuesday evening.
Asked whether he would have been unhappy if he had been born as a
Croat, he answered in the affirmative.
Nikolic took the helm of the Radical Party after its chief, Vojislav
Seselj, was transferred to The Hague to face war crimes charges.
At the 16 December presidential election in Serbia, which failed
because of a low turnout, Nikolic won over one million of votes.
