Ralph Frank, Kaname Ikeda, and Jacques Wunenburger respectively.
DVOR NA UNI, Nov 25 (Hina) - The reconstructed kindergarten Sunce
(Sun) in the Croatian town of Dvor na Uni was officially opened on
Tuesday by the ambassadors of the United States, Japan, and the
European Commission (EC) in Croatia, Ralph Frank, Kaname Ikeda, and
Jacques Wunenburger respectively. #L#
Some 70,000 dollars necessary for the renovation of the
kindergarten was ensured by the U.S. and Japanese governments and
the EC.
The three ambassadors, accompanied by local officials, toured the
rebuilt water supply system in Matijevici, outside the town, in
which the U.S Agency for International Development invested some
$170,000. Ambassador Frank said the U.S. Administration had
invested some two million dollars in the reconstruction of
utilities in Dvor na Uni. Since 1992, Washington has invested over
$340 million into the development of Croatia's democratic
institutions, the return of refugees and mine clearance.
