Speaking at an election rally of the HSLS-Democratic Centre (DC)
coalition, he described the work of the incumbent government as
unsuccessful in all areas, and said that current opposition parties
had already won the parliamentary election called for Sunday.
DC leader Mate Granic said there was no safe future in Croatia
without the HSLS-DC coalition. He added that "our government" would
reconstruct Vukovar, the eastern town that suffered massive damage
in the Serbian aggression, and return all refugees to pre-war homes
rather than spend budgetary funds on saving bankrupt companies.
The HSLS-DC coalition will not increase the debt of the country as
the current government has done, and Croatia will no longer be the
only country in transition which has not increased exports, said
Granic.
At the rally, the coalition presented its candidates in
constituency no. 8.
