SARAJEVO, Nov 25 (Hina) - Muslim believers throughout Bosnia- Herzegovina on Tuesday celebrated Ramadan Bayram. #L# On this occasion, the head of the Islamic community in the country, Mustafa Efendi Ceric, held the central service in Sarajevo's Gazi- Husrefbeg Mosque. He said that Muslim believers in Bosnia-Herzegovina were sharing fear and concern over the current state of affairs in the world, and they also had the obligation to give their contribution to a safer, better and fairer world. Muslims share the destiny of the world with other peoples and religions and have the right to alleviate the suffering of mankind with hope which was instilled in them during the month of fasting, he said. "Muslims should use positive energy they got during the fasting for the common good," Ceric told the faithful. He forwarded best wishes to Muslim faithful in Croatia as well as to Muslims in other countries in the area of the former Yugoslavia, on the occasion of this great Islamic holiday. The holiday was celebrated in all mosques in Bosnia, including those in the Bosnian Serb entity with no incident. November 25 is also Bosnia's Statehood Day, which is marked as a bank holiday.
