LJUBLJANA, Nov 24 (Hina) - The results of Sunday's parliamentary election in Croatia indicate that a stable government will be formed, neighbouring Slovenia's Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said in a statement on Monday, adding that
relations between the two countries would continue to be important.

"The new parliament and government will comprise people we know
well and cooperated well with at the time of the gaining of
independence and the period after that," said Rupel, the only
senior official from that time -- the early 1990s -- who is in
Slovenia's incumbent government.
Rupel went on to say that several open issues remained between the
two countries and that their settlement depended on politicians'
will, the stability of Croatia's government and its economy,
Slovenia's STA news agency said.
