ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - The president of Croatia's State Electoral

that every polling station in Croatia and abroad was opened in due
time. #L#
He said that the complaints which had been made during the night and
in the morning were mainly negligible.
Crnic appealed to the participants in the ballot not to break the
media blackout. The DIP cannot pass any sanctions if media blackout
is broken, except a moral one, even though it constitutes breaking
the law, he explained.
According to a report the Interior Ministry submitted to the DIP,
public peace and order have been disturbed at only several polling
stations, including at one in Muc municipality, where desks and
chairs were removed and electricity was cut overnight, but
everything was back in order by the time the station opened in the
morning.
Crnic said that results from voting in New Zealand had already been
delivered and that polling stations had closed by noon in
Australia, China, Japan, and Malaysia. Said results must not be
revealed before the expiry of media blackout at 7 pm today, he
recalled.
