RIJEKA, Nov 10 (Hina) - A leader of the Croatian People's Party (HNS), Radimir Cacic, who held talks with citizens of Rijeka while distributing the party's leaflets at a stand in that seaport, said that his party was catching up with
the Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) in popularity expressed by respondents in opinion polls.
RIJEKA, Nov 10 (Hina) - A leader of the Croatian People's Party
(HNS), Radimir Cacic, who held talks with citizens of Rijeka while
distributing the party's leaflets at a stand in that seaport, said
that his party was catching up with the Socialist Democratic Party
(SDP) in popularity expressed by respondents in opinion polls. #L#
Cacic added that he believed that results which the SDP, Croatian
Peasant Party (HSS) and the HNS would achieve at the coming
parliamentary elections would be sufficient to form a new
government.
According to him, the slate of the HNS and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar
Alliance (HNS-PGS coalition) will be the second best in
constituency No. 8 according to the number of votes it will gather
at the ballot.
