The ministry said in a statement the issue was a multilateral one,
and suggested all Adriatic countries should meet in Ljubljana to
discuss the matter, but after the Venice conference.
"We stress once again that Croatia's decision to proclaim an
ecological and fishing zone (in the Adriatic) was a unilateral move
and that no consultations required by international law were held
with the Slovene side," the statement said.
