ZAGREB, Oct 30 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic and representatives of Debis International Trading, a company from the DaimlerChrysler concern, on Thursday signed a long-term framework agreement on strategic partnership
with regard to several current and new development and industrial projects.

agreement on strategic partnership with regard to several current

After the signing, Debis International Trading director Volker
Schmidt said his company was interested not only in exporting to
Croatia, but also in enabling Croatian companies to take part in the
production and creation of new values and increase exports.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Jurcic received a German business
delegation, led by the Secretary of State in the Federal Economy and
Labour Ministry, Ditmar Staffelt. The German businessmen are
visiting Croatia as part of a delegation accompanying German
Chancellor Gerhard Shcroeder, who is on an official visit to
Zagreb.
