ZAGREB HOSTING EXHIBITION OF 100 BEST NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PHOTOS

ZAGREB, Oct 24 (Hina) - Croatian Science and Technology Minister Gvozden Flego opened an exhibition of the 100 best National Geographic photographs in Zagreb on Thursday. #L# The display, put up at the Croatian Society of Visual Artists House to promote the upcoming Croatian edition of the magazine, features about 30 photographs from Croatia. National Geographic has written about Croatia on a number of occasions since 1908. The editor-in-chief of the Croatian edition, Hrvoje Prcic, announced the first issue will appear on newsstands on November 7. The exhibition is held under the auspices of President Stjepan Mesic.
