Addressing the participants in the event, culture ministers from
some 30 countries, Croatia's Culture Minister Antun Vujic
expressed satisfaction with the fact that his country wrapped up
this year's activities in the creation of international cultural
policy with three important events taking place in Opatija this
month.
The first of them, which ended on Wednesday, was a meeting of the
International Network for Cultural Diversity - INCD, gathering
non-governmental organisations, professional societies and
individuals from over 70 countries, who discussed the role of civil
society in the promotion of cultural diversity.
The last one, which will gather culture ministers of Council of
Europe member-states, will take place in Opatija later this month
and will focus on dialogue in culture and prevention of conflict.
