MOSTAR, Oct 9 (Hina) - Croat education ministers in five cantons of the Croat-Muslim federation, on Thursday expressed disapproval of plans to introduce the subject "Culture of Religions" instead of Catechism which children have been
taught in schools so far.

plans to introduce the subject "Culture of Religions" instead of

The ministers from the cantons, where Croats make up a majority of
population, expressed fear that the addition of that subject to the
schools' curriculum could lead to spreading intolerance, divisions
and conflicts.
In their opinion the new subject was incompatible with the values of
main religions and their theological systems.
The five dissatisfied minister sent a letter with their views on the
issue to international organisations and religious communities in
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
