crimes tribunal in The Hague, Carla Del Ponte, reiterated after a
meeting with European Union foreign ministers in Luxembourg on
Monday she believed runaway Croatian general Ante Gotovina was in

She said that during her recent visit to Zagreb she had exchanged
information with Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan concerning
Gotovina's whereabouts, but that the information often differed.
Asked whether Racan was not telling the truth when he claimed that
Gotovina was not in Croatia, Del Ponte said she did not believe
Racan was lying, but most probably did not know where Gotovina was.
She reiterated that they had different information on the matter.
She also said that according to her information the fugitive
general was living rather comfortably most of the time, sailing on a
yacht.
